The Service

ZANTŌ is a personal record platform. You log focused work sessions: domain, duration, timestamp. The platform stores them permanently and returns them to you as a record of what you actually did. Access is bought one year at a time.

ZANTŌ is available as a website at zanto.app and as an Android application. They are the same service and the same account; the app is a client for the record, not a separate product.

The application is Android only. There is no iPhone or iPad version, and we do not promise one. Logging work happens only in the application. Without an Android phone you can see your year's dates on this site, download your record as a file, and delete your account. What you cannot do is log work, and this site does not display your record.

The Year and the Price

ZANTŌ costs $1,200 USD (in Sweden, 12 000 kr), and nothing is added to it. It is a single payment for one year: 365 days, beginning with your first session. If you have not started a session within 30 days of paying, your year begins on the thirtieth day. It is not a subscription. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. When your year ends, it ends, and you are never charged again. To have another year, you buy another year. Your payment also provides one printed edition of your record, made when that same year seals. See The Printed Edition, below.

There is no free version and no free trial. Every account is paid from the start. In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal (see Withdrawal, below), we offer our own guarantee: if you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, you can request a full refund.

We may grant complimentary or evaluation access at our discretion, for example to testers or to a store reviewer assessing the app. Such access is not a free tier, confers no ongoing entitlement, and may be withdrawn at any time.

The Printed Edition

Your payment provides one printed edition of your record: one A2 sheet (420 × 594 mm), your year on the front and your milestones on the back. Your year runs 365 days from your first session, and it seals at the end of it. The day of your first session is day one, so a year beginning on 14 February 2026 runs to 13 February 2027. That last day is yours, and your year seals at the end of it. A year here is 365 days, not the same date the following year. If 29 February falls inside your year, those 365 days run out a day sooner again: a year beginning on 10 October 2023 runs to 8 October 2024. The printed edition is produced from the sealed record and posted to you within 30 days of your year sealing, at the address you gave at checkout. To change that address before your year seals, email support@zanto.app. We sell to, and ship free to, the European Union and the United States: postage is included in the price and there is nothing further to pay.

Your access and your record are one span, not two. They begin together at your first session, they run the same 365 days, and they end together: the day your access ends is the day your record seals. There is no gap in which one has ended and the other has not.

One payment buys one edition: the record as it stands when your year seals. Your year begins on the day of your first session, whenever that is. There is no shared calendar and no partial year. To receive a further edition, you buy a further year. One payment, one edition.

For VAT reasons, some EU countries may not be available at times. The notice above the payment button names the countries open that day, and checkout accepts no other delivery address.

We cannot currently sell to the United Kingdom. A sale there would require a UK VAT registration we do not hold, so checkout will not accept a United Kingdom delivery address.

The printed edition reflects the work you actually logged. Nobody can buy a full sheet. If your year does not seal, because you withdrew or because your account was deleted, no edition is produced and none is posted.

Your printed edition is made for you alone. It carries your own record and your own member number, and one edition is issued for each year you seal. Because it is made to your record in this way, it cannot be returned once it has been produced.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. ZANTŌ does not store your card details. The price is the total: nothing is added at checkout. For delivery to Sweden it includes 25% Swedish VAT, and for delivery to another EU country it may too. For delivery outside the EU no VAT is charged. Your invoice states which applies.

Years are bought and managed on zanto.app. The Android app sells nothing: it contains no purchase, no upgrade and no billing screen, and it is a sign-in only client for an account you already hold. If you installed the app from Google Play, Google is not a party to your purchase and is not the merchant of record.

When your year ends

Your year runs 365 days from your first session, and then it ends. If you never start a session, it runs 365 days from the thirtieth day after you paid. Nothing renews and you are not charged again. You keep full access for the whole of those 365 days. There is nothing to cancel, because there is no recurring payment to stop.

After your year ends, your account becomes read-only. This is deliberate: your record does not disappear because your access lapsed. You can still open ZANTŌ, read every session and milestone you have logged, and delete them. What you cannot do is log new work until you buy another year.

Our own refund guarantee runs for the first 30 days after you pay: ask, and we refund in full. After 30 days we issue no refunds under that guarantee. This is in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal below, and does not replace or limit it.

Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded, which is the day you pay.

The quickest way is the withdrawal page at zanto.app/withdraw, which stays open for as long as the right lasts. You can also send a clear statement to that effect to support@zanto.app from the address your account uses. You do not have to give a reason. A model withdrawal form is set out at the end of these terms as Appendix A. You may use it, but you are not required to. Any clear statement will do.

You can start work the moment you pay, because you ask to. At checkout you confirm that you want your access to begin immediately, and it does: you can sit down and log a session straight away. What begins with that first session is the counted year, the 365 days you bought. That means if you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay for the part of the year you have already had, in proportion to the whole, and we refund the rest. In practice our 30-day guarantee is more generous than that calculation for the whole of the withdrawal period, and we apply whichever leaves you better off. It also means that once your year has been fully provided, which is when your 365 days have run, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, because there is nothing left to withdraw from.

The printed edition is different. It is made to your own record and carries your own member number, so it cannot be returned once produced. It is only produced after your year seals, so if you withdraw there is no edition to return and none is made.

Separately from this right, we offer a 30-day full refund as our own guarantee. It is more generous than the statutory right in most cases, and you may use whichever suits you.

Your Account

One account per person. You are responsible for the data you enter and the activity on your account.

The normal way in is the sign-in email: when you enter your email address we send one message containing a sign-in link and an eight-digit code, either of which signs you in, and both are single-use and short-lived. Treat that email as you would a password, and do not forward it. A password sign-in also exists.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time, from Settings in the Android app or by emailing privacy@zanto.app from the account’s address. It is immediate, it cannot be undone, and it is not a refund: see the refund terms above.

What is erased. Every session, mark, milestone and note you have recorded, your profile, and the account itself. Once deletion completes, none of it remains on our systems.

Your member number. Member numbers are never reused. When an account is deleted, its number is retired with it and is never given to anyone else.

What we must keep, and why. If you have paid, Swedish bookkeeping law requires us to keep the accounting record of that payment: the invoice, the amount, the date, and the name and address it was issued to. We are not permitted to delete it. It is held by our payment processor, Stripe, and in our bookkeeping, in Bokio, and by law it is kept until the end of the seventh year after the year of the sale. It is kept for accounting only: it is not used for anything else, and it contains none of your record. If you withdrew from your purchase, we also keep the record of that withdrawal, which is the name and email address you gave on the withdrawal form and the date we received it, with the record of your payment for the same seven years, as the record that you withdrew and that we refunded you.

The only other residue is the ordinary technical request logs our hosting providers keep for a short period. These carry an IP address, are never linked to your record, and are not something we read or retain ourselves.

Acceptable Use

Use the platform for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or interfere with the service. Do not use automated tools to access ZANTŌ without permission. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or terminated.

Service Availability

We operate on a best-efforts basis. The platform may experience downtime for maintenance or unforeseen issues. We do not guarantee specific uptime percentages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any dispute will be resolved under Swedish jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live: where that law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, you keep them, and nothing in these terms limits them.
